Hard Time, written by the infamous Steve Gerber (Howard the Duck) and drawn by Brian Hurtt, premiered as part of DC Comics’ short-lived 2004 Focus Imprint, alongside Kinetic, Frantic and Touch.  After a year, the imprint was shelved and Hard Time was the last comic standing, but that was to be for only 7 more issues.

This week, Darren pays tribute to the short-lived masterpiece, that was one part Columbine massacre riff and the other a satirical send up of doing a near life stretch in prison.
