Quantum & Woody #1 Release Party

Published on July 15th, 2013

It is literary days before San Diego Comic Con. Here, in Los Angeles it is a nice sunny day, and the Dodgers are playing The Colorado Rockies. So might be asking yourself; “What can I possibly do in a town full of entertainment?”

My answer would’ve been to come down to Collector’s Paradise in Pasadena and meet some of the amazing people from Valiant Comics. Where we were on hand to promote the first issue of Valiant’s growing comic universe, Quantum and Woody, from the creative team of writer James Asmus (Gambit, Thief of Thieves, End Times of Bram & Ben) and artist Tom Fowler.

Also on hand for the promotion was the CEO, CCO of Valiant, Dinesh Shamdasani, and Sales/Marketing Consultant AtomBang Freeman.

Now if you’ve ever been to any Collectors Paradise party you know that they are something remarkable. One year they had a tattoo party. This year they had a real life goat! This is not a joke kids! As you can see from the picture, myself with former Comicimpact staff member Andy were more than happy to take a picture with Mona the goat.

Now what makes this event even more special is our very own Sheldon does the voice for the QR variant cover, you should check it out. Use the QR Reader App on your iPhone or android and scan the cover right below the text. You will hear the weirdest noises ever heard in your life.
