Sneak Peek: Green Lantern

Published on July 15th, 2010

Next week is San Diego Comic Con, so it’s time for Entertainment Weekly to put up their Special Comic Con Preview. What’s the best thing you can put on the cover? A photo of Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan. I am sure that would get a lot of buzz on the internet. So much so that my mail box was full of it today.

Entertainment Weekly says: As all of Hollywood (and many a costumed nerd) gears up for next week’s Comic-Con convention in San Diego, EW provides a behind-the-scenes look at the making of next summer’s highly anticipated superhero movie Green Lantern.

I can tell you that I think some of the fan created artwork is a lot better then this. I am not a fan of the plastic looking costumes and this one just looks fake. I don’t get the line on the costumes because of his power ring. Is it because the film is in 3-D? And it does not look good as a flat image. I don’t know, maybe after I see a trailer I will love it. But for now, it looks to shit in my eyes.

Don’t think I hate the Green Lantern books, but I just think the movie is going to suck. As bad as Jonah Hex did. I am big fan of Martin Campbell’s Casino Royale, and for me it’s one of the best 007 films. Sometimes I forget there is a Green Lantern film.

Green Lantern is set to hit theaters on June 17, 2011.
