I gave you good folks the news on Saturday that a Thor had been chosen for the new film and now we have a Loki! They went with Tom Hiddleston from the BBC miniseries Wallander. Not much is known about this actor other then he was also up for the lead role of Thor as well.

Apparently the news is that he will also be in the Avengers film set to be released in 2012, which to me might indicate that not only will we see a large team up of  GREAT superheros but also a large line up of supervillains! Which is really a cool idea as this is starting to shape what the story could be for the Avengers film.
