We’re all familiar with the currently very popular ‘The Walking Dead’ comic series and TV show, and the vast amount of other zombie comics, movies, literature and video games on offer to us horror lovers. But one thing I wonder most of the time is ‘what would happen if a zombie invasion originated somewhere other than the United States’?
Most of you will be saying it would be no different at all, and why on Earth would it be different? Zombies won’t act differently depending on where they came...

Package Description:
There was a time when the crack of thunder rolled across ancient battlefields, calling men to war. This was the call to arms of Thor, ancient god of thunder. He was the master of the storms that whipped the North Sea into frenzied whitecaps and drove the Norsemen to conquest. He was their strength and their armor. In the millennia since, Thor has turned his eye to the protection of all mankind, rather than the patronage of a slect few. He wields his hammer as a defender of Earth, and protector of the weak,...

A small town with something weird happening, in this case everybody in the town is disappearing. Not the most original way to start a story, but when it’s the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense you know it’s going to be interesting. B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth: New World is a new series from Mike Mignola that continues where King of Fear left off.
There’s a lot of stuff going on in this issue that makes it a tough read, but I have high hopes that it will pay off. Dr. Kate Corrigan is the current field director...

With such powerful cover artwork and an extremely intriguing name, ‘X-Force: Sex and Violence’ was something I felt I had to pick up. I had heard about and seen this comic in the previews a few months ago but had given it nothing more than a quick raise of the eyebrow. Yet here I am, giving it more attention than I’d have thought it would warrant.
It’s the first of a 3 issue mini series by writers Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, and artist Gabriele Dell’Otto. It explores the physical relationship...

I fear, dear readers, that I may have made a grave error in my past. An error not so harsh it is irredeemable, but one that could cause great internal suffering if circumstances carry on as they are. No, I’m not talking about my varying social affairs, I am infact talking about my decision to have stopped reading The Amazing Spider-Man. I stopped reading the series because I quite simply got bored of it, I had no other reason than that, and now having picked up a few issues (for reasons to be explained), I fear that I may...

One great thing about the comics medium is it’s ability to give us MORE of what we want. You can continue a show without committing the cast, you can produce a sequel to a movie without the big budget of special effects and you can even rejuvenate loved characters and stories in a stimulating new way. I am reminded of this because I read a comic this week based on a property popular during my childhood. So if you’ll indulge me, let’s step back into the 80s and take a look at Fraggle Rock.
Having not...

Fred Van Lente has just been announced over at Marvel, as the writer to take on the challenge of Marvel Zombies 5, along with artist Kano. This comes as no surprise, as Van Lente was put on the task of dealing with the Marvel Zombies back when he wrote Marvel Zombies 3.
The series will run for 5 issues, as is expected (and the usual) for a Marvel Zombies limited series, and it will kick off in April. It seems that April is really the month to watch over at Marvel.
Van Lente has said this about what he intends to do with this...

Here at Comic Impact we like to show what the staff is reading and discuss the newest shipment of comic books by posting the Comic Impact Pull List! This time Sheldon has the POW ( Pick of the week) and it’s not going to be a busy week for him since he only has 3 books this week. THAT’S RIGHT, 3. Apprently roller skates and the slippery floor at the Comic Impact Secret Lair and Ice Cream Empourium DO NOT MIX!!! Thats right kids in a vain attempt to recreate a scene from Fantastic Four:Rise of the Silver Surfer, Comic Girl went down face first in a vat of Vanilla Fudge Ripple and was instantly pronounced dead…..or maybe not I don’t know we arn’t that patient here.
In an attempt to replace her as fast as humanly possible we got a rather talented artist named Mikey Turvey on board who lovingly drew myself(Sheldon),Simon...

When it comes to plucky Belgian reporters with small white dogs, surely Tintin must be the world’s most celebrated. OK, probably the only one, but this week he celebrated his 80th birthday. Tintin first appeared in a children’s supplement to the Belgian newspaper, Le Vingtième Siècle on January 10, 1929.
The Adventures of Tintin have taken him around the world, to the bottom of the ocean and even to the moon. He’s battled communists, pirates, poachers and drug dealers.
His creator, Herge (Georges Prosper Remi -...

Well you know this blog was come in one day and here it is Watchmen merchandising. That’s right. As the Yogurt told us in Spaceballs

So what kind of merchandise are we looking at .When it comes to Watchmen. Well all know that there will be a set of toys that we will have a review of the...
