I love classic monster movies and I hate Twilight. Luckily for me, there’s a comic book that caters to those distinct traits, Screamland from Image Comics. It’s the story of a bunch of classic monster characters who made their living acting in horror movies and now have trouble getting steady work. During the San Diego Comic Con this year we happened to run into the co-writer, Christopher Sebela. He was nice enough to take time out of his busy schedule and talk to us all about this awesome comic book series. If you’re...

Oh man, San Diego Comic Con is right around the corner and that means it’s time to finish up those costumes and somehow pack them/get them to the con. Here are some tricks I’ve used and ones my friends have told me about to help you get to the con in fine form.
1.Make a List: As you can tell from my articles, I love lists! They’re organized, they’re clear, and they’re simply the best way to lay out the information you need to stay on track. Make a packing list, and a “getting ready in the morning” list.
2.Print...

Remember last Wednesday when it was preview night at San Diego Comic Con? Remember how you told yourself you’d need to buy your four day membership pass for 2011? Well I have some good news and some bad news. Here is the bad news just like last year the first 15,000 tickets for Preview Night have sold out already.
No, this is not a joke. A big part of why there is no tickets left for preview night is because they’re selling tickets onsite. One of the top questions we get asked here at ComicImpact is why do I need...
