Hey everybody, how’s it going? Sorry, due to some technical difficulties we’re a little late with this week’s poll, but it’s here now! So, everybody’s been real interested in the DC relaunch, right? We’re getting little bits here and there and this last week we got our first look at the new Justice League. The new costumes were designed by Jim Lee and a lot of people have been talking about them. So the question we at Comic Impact have is, what do you guys think? Check out the picture.

The end of an era is on your comic shelves this week. Today marks the release of Ultimate Spider-Man #160 and the death of the Ultimate Marvel Universe’s Peter Parker.
Some have speculated that this death, which was announced several months ago, would result in a stereotypical comic book “fake out death,” in which Peter doesn’t really die, but Ultimate Spider-Man writer Brian Michael Bendis (who has consistently written Ultimate Spider-Man since issue #1 in 2000) has said that at the end of Ultimate...

It’s time, boys and girls! The third big superhero film of the summer is upon us! Friday June 17 marks the theatrical release of Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds as the emerald warrior.
Here at Comic Impact, we want to know just how excited you are about this movie. It’s cool to finally see a big screen DC movie other than Batman or Superman, but there have been a lot of complaints made about the huge amount of CG in the film. So, we’re leaving it up to you fine people! Let us know exactly how...

Nope nothing of any interest in comic books I can think of. OH WAIT! I forgot that DC Comics is relaunching 52 of their books!
So, what do you lovely comic book fans of all this business? Do you like the idea of DC starting over with their characters? Does it make you excited to read DC books again, or does it just piss...

With Flashpoint starting this week, we wanted to know if you are going to read it. DC has this to say about their big summer event:
Not a dream, not an imaginary story, not an elseworld. This is Flash Fact: When Barry Allen wakes at his desk, he discovers the world has changed. Family is alive, loved ones are strangers, and close friends are different, gone or worse. It’s a world on the brink of a cataclysmic war - but where are Earth’s Greatest Heroes to stop it? It’s a place where America’s...

This past week,Action Comics #900 came out and the net wet ape shit over it, because of the story by David Goyer (Batman Begins screenwriter)
In Action Comics #900, Superman renounced his American citizenship, rejecting the international notion that his actions are part of US policy. The shift comes after a personal visit to Iran in support of protestors which leads President Ahmadinejad to believe America was declaring war against the government in Tehran.
Very much like Batman, Superman is working on an international scale...

We all know that Thor is hitting movie theaters very soon. I know that I am going with a group of people from my local comic book shop and watching it at 12:10am.
Now, on this week’s Poll Of The Week we want to know when you are going to watch Thor and what version of the film you are going to watch, 3-D or 2-D.
Just in case you did not know, Thor is directed by Kenneth Branagh. The movie stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, and of course features...

Last week,Marvel announced that Ultimate Spider-Man #160 will be shipped in a polybag. Now, this week’s poll is to ask you, the ComicImpact readers what you think of the hype around polybags. Is it just a way for comic book companies to juice up their sales?
I recall back in the 1990’s, polybags where a big deal. I remember getting The Death of Superman for Christmas back in 1992. I opened it because I cared about the story line in the book. There was also copy X-Force #1 by Rob Liefeld that came out with a free...

If you’re reading a comic book site then there is a good chance you buy action figures based on your favorite comic book characters. I know we love action figure here at the site. We have a featured called “Figure Friday” where I take the time and review some of the best figures in the world of comics.
Now my question for this week’s Poll of the Week is do you open your figures or do you keep them mint on card? Myself even before ComicImpact was around I would open my action figures since I am such...

This week, we want to know how you feel about books that get delayed a lot. Last week, we finally got Ultimate X #4 by Jeph Loeb and Kick Ass 2 #2 by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. Also, a week or two ago we got Batman: The Dark Knight #2 from comic star, David Finch.
I am still waiting for Captain America:...

So, this past week we got our first look at the new FF comic from creators Jonathan Hickman (Secret Warriors, The Nightly News) and artist Steve Epting (Captain America, The Marvels Project).
Our question for you,is all the hype around this book justified? And, is it something you know you’re going to keep on your pull list? I know it is only the first issue, but is it something that you know that you’re going to keep reading, or was just a let down? Or will you just wait until Fantastic Four#600 when Johnny...
