Earlier this week we reported about a story at Deadline that said that Emma Stone has been offered the role of Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot.
Today Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Matt Tolmach, president of Columbia Pictures, gave a press release saying that Stone has actually been cast as Gwen Stacy in the reboot.

One of the biggest comic book movie shocks of 2010 has been the sudden firing of Sam Raimi from the Spider-Man films and the proposed “reboot” of the franchise.
Today, Deadline is reporting that Sony Pictures will “imminently offer the role of Mary Jane Watson” to actress Emma Stone (Zombieland, Easy A) in the upcoming reboot. The role was filled by actress Kirsten Dunst in the previous three Spider-Man films.
Stone has been on a short list of actresses for Peter Parker’s love interest (or interests)...

Well it’s been a long wait, but we’re finally starting to see some set pictures of Chris Evans for the Captain America movie. I know we all want to see him in the costume, but we gotta ease into things here. So here we can see Chris in a white shirt that’s probably a size or two too small, and some pants that are looking too small as well. So I’m thinking this is right after Steve goes through the super soldier experiment and he’s gone from this tiny little guy to the full-size Captain America we...

Do you remember some time last year, when we posted, Michael Riva had received a copy of the Iron Man 2 script? He told NPR in a interview his “Iron Man 2″ script begins with“Tony, in the Iron Man armor, pukes in a toilet.”
Then You may have recalled a scene from the Iron Man 2 trailers that showed Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) kissing Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) helmet and then tossing it out of an airplane, which never actually made it into the movie.Director Jon Favreau had stated before that this scene which...

Are we seeing the first photos of Chris Evans as Captain America? Doesn’t look like it, I’m thinking it’s his stunt double, but we do get to see the suit, shield and motorcycle for the first time. His suit looks to be based on The Ultimate Universe Captain America and looks really good.
It’s really detailed and has a vintage color feel to it. The motorcycle has that same vintage touch to it. The body, saddle bags and paint are all very 1940’s, which leads me to believe that the scene they are...

I wasn’t fortunate enough to be there this past week, unlike everyone else on the Comic Impact team, but I was able to watch the news flow in from afar. I tell you what though dear readers, I had a heck of a time catching up on all the announcements and news since I only came back home from France on the last day of Comic Con’. There are some really...

Ok, so yesterday we showed you the concept designs of what Chris Evans would look like as Captain America. But now how about some photos of what Chris Hemsworth looks like as Thor.
If you re-call sometime ago, we had posted a photo of Hemsworth dressed as Thor, and it look badass, yet I am not 100% sure if this is official. I am not big fan of his hammer, Mjolner glowing. There is something about these photos that look a bit too CG, and they feel a bit weird.
Thor hits theaters on May 6, 2011. Thor is being directed by Kenneth...
