One of the biggest surprises of 2010 has been how great the new Flash series has been. Geoff Johns’ writing has been great but what has really made this series spectacular has been the amazing art by Francis Manapul.

The things that you will see on the pages of a Brandon Graham comic are unusual and daring. The panels are jaggedly laid out across the page, there is writing everywhere, but the world feels so alive. Brandon’s characters feel alive, emotionally and artistically.

Hey Comic Impact-ers! Dana checking in. Yesterday Simon and I attended the J.T. Krul signing at Galaxy of Comics and it was a blast. We had a great turn-up of fans and J.T., charismatic as always, was the life of the party. So what were we celebrating?
