Say what you want about the DC Animated films. I know some people love them and some people hate them. My personal two favorites are All-Star Superman and Justice League New Frontier. Other ones have been hit or miss with me. So here is my review of the new animated film Justice League: Doom. Justice League: Doom is based on the Mark Waid Justice League story arc “Tower of Babel.”
The film opens with Batman (voiced by Kevin Conroy) finding a playing card. Our minds go immediately to the Joker, but it is not; it is the Royal...

Courtesy of ComicBookMovie. Check out our first look at Russell Crowe in his complete Jor-El costume from Man of Steel. Crowe is a great actor and I am interested to see what he will bring to the role If you look closely you can see the blue Superman suit underneath his armor. I get the feeling that Zod will be wearing something very similar. This not at all what I was expecting. It’s very different from any previous version of Kryptonian garb we have seen before, it’s surprisingly very alien looking. I think its...

Did you all know that Green Lantern: Emerald Knights comes out this week on Blu-Ray and DVD? Well, you do now! Lucky for me, I was able to get a copy of it in advance, so I can share with you all the awesome that is Warner Brothers Animation Studios. I have a lot of fun every time I watch one of these, and this story is no different. It’s basically story time with Hal Jordan (voiced by the all too talented, Nathan Fillion). He goes through the origin stories of all the most important characters in the Green Lantern universe.

With the release of Green Lantern less than two months away, Warner Bros. has really revved up their advertising machine.
Yesterday we got not only two new posters for the upcoming film, featuring Sinestro (played by Mark Strong) and Kilowog (a CG character being voiced by Michael Clark Duncan), but also a new two minute TV spot. The TV spot doesn’t feature much new footage, but it’s still pretty cool looking. Check it out below!

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen any new footage from the upcoming Green Lantern film starring Ryan Reynolds as the emerald crusader. In fact, the last time was in November of last year. This weekend at Wondercon, fans got to see some brand new footage and thanks to the great people over at Apple, you can watch an abridged 4-minute version of this footage in 1080 HD, that was also shown at CinemaCon.

And so it has come to pass that we have a new Wonder Woman. Her name is Adrianne Palicki. I have to start by saying she definitely looks the part. Dark hair? Check! Light eyes? Check! A body that is going to make every woman on the planet insecure? Double check! If we’re casting on looks alone, the way Hollywood so often does, then at least we can say they got one thing right. I’d like to throw in that according to imdb.com, she is 5′11″ so yeah - with or without the title Ms. Palicki is definitely an...
