When I heard Zenescope was putting a Charmed comic out I was wondering how it would work. I was always a big fan of the show and I was afraid it would be hard to pick up the essence of the show so long after it had been on the air. After reading the first issue I have hope for the series.
I really like the cover by David Seidman. I think the pose was very true to the tv series and the muted colors gave it that magical feel. It also has aspects from the book with the vines and chalkboard. Plus you get the familiar “Charmed”...

For sometime now, we have been hearing about this all new X-Men comic, that is going to have vampires in the first story arc. I personally think it is a bit silly.
Well, guess what I read last night? That’s right, the new X-men number 1 from Victor Gischler (’The Death of Dracula’) and artwork by Paco Medina (‘Deadpool’). How was it? How did I get a copy, and does it spoil ‘Second Coming’? Read on to find out.

It’s really hard for me to write about things I like. I feel like it’s easier to talk about things that are wrong with a book. My first start of this review read “this book is neat, i really think you should read it.” In truth, that’s gonna be the heart of this review but I’m going to try to elaborate just a bit more.
