[...] Pardon the terribly snarky headline, it was just too easy. Over the weekend artist Rob Liefeld tweeted that his creator owned series with Robert Kirkman The Infinite has come to an end. The reasons given by Liefeld were, “creative differences have sunk” the book,””tried a new inker over 14 pages” of the series’ unreleased fifth issue, and “loved ‘em- but split decision w/Skybound.” This is not the first time a Kirkman/Liefeld collaboration has gone unfinished or unpublished, the first being the Marvel mini-series Killraven from 2007 the second was the artistic jam session Image United . As of now there have been no comments or statements from either Kirkman or his Image imprint Skybound. But fear not Liefeld fans you will still get to see his work in The Savage Hawkman, Deathstroke, and Grifter along with the Image relaunch of Liefeld’s Extreme Studios, which included Prophet which was Comic Impact’s Pick of the Week.
