It was bound to happen sooner or later. ComicImpact has an interview with pretty-art-guy, Gabriel Bautista. Yes, he colors All-Star Western from DC Comics. Yes, he has drawn pictures for the awesome comic, Elephantmen. Yes, he has a new project in the works with Joshua Hale Fialkov.
But, we barely talk about any of that. Mostly, we goof around and dance and lean. We learn what Mr. Bautista really looks at while he’s talking to Susan and how much Sheldon drinks. Either way, watch this unorthodox encounter with this awesome...

I love to come across books that are like nothing else. I found that in the independent title, Holli Hoxxx. There’s a lot going on in here, and I listen as co-creator, Adam Tinius, tells me all about what it takes to make this book. Seriously, this is such a unique idea, and I felt super lucky to have the chance to hear about it. Watch it and appreciate what creators go through to make their books a reality.

Jim Henson is and was a very real product of his generation. He, like many of his peers, thought outside the box. They made film, art and music that pushed buttons, made bold statements and pushed you to think in a different way. It comes as no surprise to me, then, that Tale of Sand by Jim Henson and Jerry Juhl was just another excellent exercise in their ongoing quest to push boundaries of thought and expectations into a bold new direction. Thankfully, Archaia Comics, along with the excellent artist Ramon K. Perez, were able...
