Courtesy  of Variety. Today news broke that Ed Brubaker will be adapting the big screen his noir/crime comic Coward for Jamie Patricof’s Hunting Lane Films. Coward is the first volume of the amazing comic series, Criminal. Director David Slade is set to direct.

Slade is also set to direct Fox’s Daredevil reboot it is not know if that will effect that projects schedule. I love that Brubaker is getting to adapt his own work. Just last month I said that Drive, starring Ryan Gosling,  would be the closest we would get to a Criminal movie, I could not be happier to be proven wrong. I would very much like it for Slade and Brubaker to have such a great working relationship that Slade brings Brubaker in to work on Daredevil. One can only hope.
