All comic fans should take a moment to say Happy Birthday to Jack “The King” Kirby!!! Today would have been his 94th birthday. His influence on medium of  comics is immeasurable. From Captain America, the creation of the romance comic, to the Marvel renaissance (Fantastic Four, X-Men, Thor, The Avengers and many more). His DC work which included the New Gods, Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olson, Kamandi, OMAC, and The Demon. His art and creativity seemed to know no bounds. There was and is no one else like him and there probably never will be again. I, for one, want to say, “Thank you Mr. Kirby.”  Now I am going to go read my Marvel Masterworks  Fantastic Four.
