Can’t wait until next summer or the end credits for Captain America: The First Avenger to get your first look at the big screen Avengers?  Well, have we got a treat for you!

At San Diego Comic Con 2011, Marvel Comics has been releasing character posters for next summer’s blockbuster/comic-fan’s wet dream, The Avengers.  So far we’ve seen Iron Man, Captain America and today we got our first look at Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.  Now, remember, these aren’t actual photos of the actors playing their respective characters, but they are based heavily on the likeness of each actor, so we’re getting a really good look at what the team is going to look like in real life.

There are still 2 unreleased poster (ostensibly featuring Thor and Hulk), but eventually they will all come together to form one long, panoramic poster.  Keep coming back to see those final posters, but for now, enjoy Iron Man, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow!

These posters will be available exclusively at the Marvel Comics booth at SDCC 2011.  The Avengers will be in theaters May 4, 2012.
