How about that sporting event, huh? I sure do enjoy seeing the home team make scoring points! Sorry, I’m not a football fan, but you know what I am a fan of? Thor. And if you are anything like me, you have been super excited to see the very first TV spot for Marvel Entertainment’s next movie, Thor. It has been reported that the studio shelled out about 3 million bucks to air this ad during the Superbowl, was it worth it? You be the judge because we got the Trailer right here for you!

In case you have no idea what I’m talking about here’s the premise for Thor: The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Thor cost about $150 million to make and is directed by Kenneth Branagh. The movie stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Tom Hiddlston as Loki, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, and of course features Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. The movie will be released in 3D and 2D on May 6, 2011 in the U.S.
