Follow Up: Good Juju Charity Calendar Release Party
Remember way back when we did the story about the charity calendar all full of sexy girls in costume? Me too. Those are good memories. Well, Good Juju, the volunteer group that sponsored the calendar, will be throwing a party this Saturday, September 25th to celebrate its release.

The party is going to be held at a club in North Hollywood, CA called CIA and preorder tickets are $10 but if you wait until Saturday the price will be $15 at the door. The party is 18 and over and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar for those over 21. Doors open at 8 pm. CIA is located at 11334 Burbank Blvd, North Hollywood, California.
Good Juju has gone all out for this party by scheduling four different musical acts throughout the night. There will be blues artist Alex Nester, reggae/ska band Papafish, rockabilly/pop band The Ryan Bradley Affair and surf rock band The Howlin’ Jupiters. Plus, raffles for cool prizes!
On top of that, crazy costumes are HIGHLY encouraged. I’m talking to all of you SoCal based cosplayers especially the Comic Impact Cosplay Girls Of The Month! You’re not going to get another chance to wear those costumes until the end of October for Long Beach Comic Con at the earliest, so why not come down, show off your cosplay talents and support a good cause?
The Good Juju charity calendar will also be available to buy at the party. The calendar is going to be $20 a pop and there will be a limited number on hand. All proceeds from the calendar go to The American Cancer Society.
If you’d like to come to the party (which you SHOULD!) you can contact Danica Selvaggio, the head honcho at Good Juju, by emailing her at goodjuju@havegoodjuju.org or through Good Juju’s website. A few of us from Comic Impact will be there too, so come down and hang out with us!

If you don’t have a ticket, but show up on Saturday in COSTUME and say that you heard about the party through Comic Impact, we’ll only charge you the pre-paid entry price of $10 per person!
