POW April 7th 2010:Turf #1

Thanks for joining us at Comic Impact again as we guide you through this week’s selection of the finest comic books. If this is your first time listening in on the Pick Of The Week podcast, then thanks for coming along, we’re always glad to see new faces! Ok, now that my pre-school teacher (or whatever that was) impression has ended, let’s get down to business.

It’s a full house this week, and the joy is being cast far and wide as Dana has the pick of the week, and not to mention that she is joined by the other fellows on the team, the likes of who are Sheldon, Simon and Rob. Rob had the pick last week, with his outlandish choise of Wolverine Origins, and not Blackest Night #8. Shock horror! Let’s see if what you interpret from Dana’s pick this time around!

Merde goes down this week, purely because it’s a full house, and thus the guys get a bit giddy. But order is swiftly restored as they knock their way through some reviews of some awesome comics. Dana talks more Dick (but not that dick…) and gets herself a bit riled up over some sexy cosmic madness. Sheldon has the opportunity to laugh in Rob’s face yet again this week, as he yet again proves him wrong, but over what? And Simon is obviously not afraid to express his views on OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), claiming it to be ‘cute’. Listen in to have this, and all your favourite comics explained and discussed!

Dana’s Pick Of The Week is TURF #1 by Jonathon Ross, and Tommy Lee Edwards, published courtesy of Image Comics. Also talked about in this podcast are Marvel Zombies 5 #1, Batman & Robin #11, Ultimate Comics X #2, Uncanny X-Men (Second Coming Chapter 2) #523, Demo #3, S.H.I.E.L.D #1 and Buffy The Vampire Slayer #34.
