Ok, here are some screen shots from the new Iron Man 2 trailer, and what I think is going on in each. This is just my thoughts about this film. Since Iron Man is my favorite character, I’ve been thinking about it a lot.

PLEASE NOTE there may be some SPOILERS, or it might turn out that I’m just talking out of my ass.

Stark with some French fans before the race I told you guys about last June.  I recommended  you pick up a copy of Essential Iron Man, Vol. 1 (v. 1) and read Tales of Suspense #45.

Here is where Iron Man arrives at his sports car down the road, drops his armor and changes into his alter ego, Anthony Stark. Stark puts the car in gear, and heads over to the speedway. He arrives just in time to swap cars, climbing behind the wheel of “The Stark Special” to race. Sometime into the event, he feels his heart freeze up on him, causing him to spin the car out of control and crash! This time it will be Whiplash that causes the crash.

More from the same scene in Monaco and it looks like Whiplash is looking for blood.

Iron Man vs Whiplash. This still takes place at the race. Also this armor looks a lot like the new one that will show up in The Invincible Iron Man #25.

Yeah Tony takes out the armor from his briefcase. If you are a fan of Shell-Head, then you know he used to have his armor in his briefcase in the first issues of Tales of Suspense, back in the 1960’s.

Now I may be right on only one of these, but this is what I think. I guess I’ll just have to wait 60 more days. That’s only 1440 hours before Iron Man 2 comes out.
