7. What made you want to get that as your tattoo ? When I was a kid I had a Marvel Comics Calendar and it showed when certain comics came out.  Wolverine came out on my Birthday and I liked him ever since.  I always wanted a Wolverine Tattoo, but could never decide on an image.  I had a graded 9.6 Hulk 181 that was a treasure of my collection and my friend was like “You should put that on your arm!”  I was like “Yeah, that’s it!”

8. How long did it take ? A total of 37 hours.  Over a 4 Month period.

Nope…I was suppose to meet Herb Trimpe at a special meet and greet this past year, but unfortunately he didn’t make it.  They did take pictures to show him.  John Romita Sr. and Jr.  were there and they were pretty excited by it.

11. Do people know about your comic book tattoo ?
Some people do.  I now work in a professional setting where most of my work is covered.

12. What is the funniest thing that has happened to you when someone saw it ? Most people are pretty amazed.  I have had a few celebs take pictures,  Rosario Dawson, Brian Posehn, Seth Green.

13. Are you hoping to get more comic book ink ? I do have the cover of Pitt #1 on my other arm, but future work is a Simon Bizley piece for my back and possibly an Army of Darkness image by J Scott Campbell.

14. What do you like to do when you’re not getting tattoos- such as where do you work and what kind of music do you like ? Anything else you want to tell us ? I work in Human Resources as a Training Specialist so I like being in front of people.  I was a professional magician for about 6 years, but now that’s just a hobby.  I love hanging with my brood (3 boys under 7)  and my “amazing” wife.   I love Dexter (Books & Show), movies and all types of music.  If your ever in Vegas come by my boy Nilson’s tattoo shop.
