Did you miss the Kick-Ass Panel during Comic-Con? I know I did, but thanks to some Bothan spies we now have these bootlegged clips from the movie! Sure the sound is bad, but from watching these videos I have hope for this film as it looks like it kick ass. If you’re not sure what Kick-Ass is about let me tell you Comic Impact readers.

The story of Kick-Ass goes something like this: comic book fanboy  Dave Lizewski decides to become a hero to save New York city from the real bad guys- street thugs, drug dealers, etc., etc. There are some major injuries to key characters and serious amounts of violence in this book, but with a title like Kick-Ass should that come as a surprise? The story is from the minds of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.

This film stars Nicolas Cage (Big Daddy), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Red Mist), Aaron Johnson (Dave Lizewski a.k.a Kick-Ass), and Chloe Moretz (Hit-Girl). The film is due out sometime in 2010.

Oh yeah- many Bothans died to bring us this information.
