Where Does He Get Those Wonderful Toys!?

As Jack Nicholson uttered those words tonight as I watched the Batman (1989) movie, I was asking myself that very same question and I couldn’t help but smile.

Let me go back a bit………

classifiedI was checking out the Internets today and noticed that the Con powerhouse to rule them all at San Diego Comic Con announced the toy giveaways for this year. So me being the interested comic geek that I am, I decided to peruse the merchandise. Lo and behold I ended up finding my holy grail! Nope it wasn’t the Cup of Christ (that’s the Cup of a Carpenter), it was a special San Diego pack containing what have been some of my favorite characters in comics from this past year! It was The Invaders Marvel 3  3/4 line of figures in one beautiful set with a 70th Anniversary Magnet to adorn my fridge!! It comes with Captain America, Human Torch, Namor, and Red Skull.

So I pay $39.99 and I get to have these awesome figures!! My only real complaint is that they don’t come with Bucky or Union Jack. But still, I know I can maybe eventually buy Bucky and I happen to already own a Union Jack figure… ahhhhhh Thank you, Simon! They also have a black and white Captain America presumably in frozen form. Once I get my hands on him, he is so getting put in the fridge and made into an ice cube!

So there it is!!! Now I have to wait and try to form a plan to get this special set…. it might involve Simon dressing up as Batman and me yelling “Fly fat ass fly!!!” That’s worth 40 dollars worth of toys to see, right?
