Brave and the Bold Goes Kirby
Do you enjoy the great Jack Kirby like I do?
If so, than you will love this fun fact the next episode of “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” featuring Mister Miracle and Kamandi! The episode will air next week on Cartoon Network.
The synopsis is something like Gorilla Grodd travels to the future where intelligent animals rule humans — Batman follows him and teams with Kamandi (the last boy on Earth) to bring him down!
Now if you’re a fan of Kirby like myself, you’d know that Kamandi was created by Jack. If you didn’t know that, it’s ok, just pick up some old trades featuring KIrby’s work to bring yourself up to speed! I can’t wait to see Kamandi and Gorilla Grodd in the same episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold!

Funny, I though that’s exactly what we’ve been doing for the past 12 years. Seems Kirby is waiting for some Big Reversal in the progression of autism science. You’d think he’d have learned when his last Big Reversal didn’t pan out exactly as he had hoped.

It is entirely possible with DC movies since they are all made by Warner Brothers but it’s just not going to happen with Marvel movies since they have been licensing their characters to all different movie studios (hence don’t expect to see an Avengers movie if the individual characters aren’t at the same studio).
