Published on January 14th, 2009

He can’t do whatever a spider can, but he sure is a hero. As we reported in this previous post, the Inauguration/Obama Edition of The Amazing Spider-man (#583) was released today, and comic fans and plebeians alike scrambled anxiously to get their hands on this limited edition issue starring the President-elect. Lines stretched around the corners of comic shops all over the country, and chilly fans withstood the frigid temps to get their chance to buy the book.

Written by Zeb Wells with art by Todd Nauck and Frank D’Armata, this one promises to be one for the history books. Did anyone get their mitts on a copy? Tell us how you got yours, give us some feedback!
