New ‘Kick-Ass’ Photos
One of my favorite new comics of 2008 was Mark Millar’s and John Romita Jr.’s Kick-Ass. For some time we have been hearing about this upcoming film starring Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Moretz.
Kick-Ass is the story of Dave Lizewski, a dorky kid in high school (like I was) who takes his interest in comic books as inspiration to become a real-life superhero.

I find it kind of funny that there is a film coming out this year since they’re only on issue five, which just came out a few weeks back. Let’s just hope they don’t fuck up this film like they did with the other Millar comic book-based film, Wanted.

Holy crap, this looks amazing already. I don’t think it’s possible for them to mess up as bad as Wanted was. Hopefully the movie will have more story line and not just end with kick ass rescuing a cat from a building. Love the book, wish it would come out a little faster though.
