J.K. Simmons, Back for Spider-Man 4

jksimmonsActor J.K. Simmons told the press this past week at Sundance that he is going to be continuing the role of Daily Bugle publisher, J. Jonah Jameson in the upcoming Spider-Man 4 film. The filming will start in March of 2010 - looks like Marvel is going to have a big year in 2011.

Sure, Spider-Man 3 was as great as a kick in the nuts, but let’s hope that Spider-Man 4 will be better.

Let’s ALSO hope that playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, who is currently working on the script, will take the time to look at some of the actual comics and do his homework.

I have some of my own ideas for the film - why not use Vulture (played by Kevin Spacey, maybe?), and let’s have more than one villain, please. And NO MORE Kirsten Dunst- instead, let’s have more of Gwen Stacy, Peter’s true love, as any fanboy out there would tell you.
